Filter Forge is a curious program, and much more than it looks, as it is a plug-in for Photoshop, but in reality it is a filter pack that allows texture generation, visual effect creation, image processing, etc.



Filter Forge has three main characteristics: 1) You can create your own filters (textures, effects, distortions, frames ...). 2) You have access to 4166 filters already created, a number that increases with time, as users share their filters with others (Filter Forge is so popular). 3) It is a dynamic program that lets you exchange contributions with other users, and if your product is popular the authors will send you a free copy of the program.
